Counselling Support in Cromwell

Life in Central Otago can be beautiful — and also isolating, demanding, or stressful at times. Our Cromwell-based counselling services are designed to support people who want professional mental health care without needing to travel to Queenstown.

We work with individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Depression or low mood

  • Burnout and work-related pressure

  • Relationship and family difficulties

  • Grief, loss, and major life changes

  • Trauma and adverse life experiences

  • Self-esteem, confidence, and identity concerns

  • Emotional regulation and overwhelm

Sessions are client-led, meaning we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.

What 1:1 Counselling Looks Like

Individual counselling offers you a dedicated space — just for you — to talk openly and honestly without judgement.

Our counsellors may draw from approaches such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Trauma-informed and nervous-system-aware practices

  • Attachment-informed counselling

  • Mindfulness and body-based strategies

  • Strengths-based and relational approaches

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. Many clients begin counselling simply knowing something isn’t quite right — and that’s more than enough.
