Email: Richelle@thetherapyproject.co.nz

Richelle Muscroft is Queenstown's only Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP™) and an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, with over 10 years' experience supporting people experiencing chronic stress, trauma, persistent pain, anxiety, burnout, grief, and nervous system dysregulation.

Richelle's approach combines Somatic Experiencing®, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Yoga Therapy, Health Coaching, and nervous system education to help clients better understand the connection between their body, mind, and nervous system. Her work is especially suited to people who feel stuck - whether they're living with persistent pain, feeling overwhelmed by stress, feeling disconnected from their body, or know what they want to change but can't seem to move forward.

Clients often leave this work with more than symptom relief. They develop a deeper understanding of themselves, greater confidence in their body's capacity for change, and practical tools to create meaningful, lasting change.

Many of us find ourselves stuck in protective patterns that once helped us navigate life's challenges but no longer serve us. Richelle helps clients understand these patterns with compassion, reconnect with their body's innate wisdom, and move from protection to possibility.

Before moving to New Zealand, Richelle worked in private practice, non-profits, treatment centres and coordinated a multidisciplinary chronic pain program in Canada. She is also a part of the faculty of Vancouver School of Healing Arts' Yoga Therapy program teaching the online chronic pain modules.

If you're curious whether this approach could be the missing piece for you, Richelle offers a complimentary 20-minute Compatibility Call to answer your questions and explore whether this work feels like the right fit.

Please note: Richelle is not a registered counsellor or psychologist. Her work complements, rather than replaces, counselling, psychology, physiotherapy, or medical care. Sessions may be covered through Southern Cross Health Insurance and selected EAP providers.
